An Australian silver claret jug, the plain body with a naturalistic handle in the form of a vine with applied decoration of grapes and leaves. Inscribed: 'Presented by J. C. Walker to P. Glenister as a token of respect July 23rd 1873', attributed to William Edwards, Melbourne, unmarked, height 32 cm, Literature: similar example in nineteenth century Australian silver, J.B.
