Two Colonial huon pine frames by Robin Hood (1802-1888), one deeply moulded frame with gilt slip, and original label to reverse containing a waterolour of a seated bearded gentleman in a turban, the other similar (no label) with a watercolour of a poor cobbler mending his child's shoe, the first 46 x 38 x 7.5 cm, the second 43 x 52 x 7.5 cm. Provenance: The Ruth Simon Collection, privately acquired from the above in 2005
