A fine Georgian pair cased pocket watch and chain, circa 1820's. Tortoiseshell and silver outer case opens to reveal a stunning secondary outer case with repousse court scene on reverse. The watch is housed in a further sterling silver case marked London with the date letter for 1826. Original gold filigree hands and dial marked Gould, London. Fusee movement engraved Thos. Gould, London, 247. Accompanied by a heavy graduated sterling silver fob chain (77 grams) adorned with three silver and rose gold fobs, plus key. Movement very clean and runs well, a very handsome piece.
