Chen Wen Hsi Singapore (1906-1991), untitled (carp), ink and watercolour on paper, depicting a group of orange carp in a pond with waterweeds. Signed and sealed by Chen Wen Hsi to the lower right-hand corner. Framed and glazed. 68 cm high, 68 cm wide. The frame 82 cm high, 82 cm wide. Provenance: given to the vendor in the 1970s by a friend who had bought it from Chen Wen Hsi's exhibition in Melbourne in 1973/74
