A Chinese pale celadon jade carving of a recumbent crane, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), circa 18th century, finely carved as a recumbent crane holding lotus leaves and blossom in its beak, the stone of even pale celadon green hue. Provenance: a private collection from Adelaide, collected in Hong Kong in the 1970s to early 1980s, sold in these rooms on 8 October 2018, lot 218.
