A gent's Omega 'America's Cup' Seamaster (Professional Diver) limited edition wristwatch, complete with box, book and papers including certificate numbered 1539/9999, 'International Warranty' card showing purchased from Partridge Jeweller Wellington 4.3.2000 and with receipt. 18ct white gold bezel to the 4.1 cm steel case, automatic movement, steel bracelet strap. Note: OMEGA, Official Timekeeper of the America's Cup 2000, decided to pay a tribute to the most prestigious and fascinating sailing competition of the world. For the first time, the Swiss watch company launched a watch specially created for the event: the Seamaster Professional Diver 'America's Cup'. It was developed in close cooperation with Sir Peter Blake and the Cup defenders 'Team New Zealand'. The 2000 challenge was held in Auckland on February 20, 2000 where Team New Zealand successfully defended the Cup.
