A vintage Nomade leather Neguev GM briefcase, Louis Vuitton. Features honey coloured 'Cuir marron' smooth leather exterior with yellow contrast stitching, a large front pocket and a LV luggage tag. Double zip top opens to maroon alcantara interior with three slip pockets. Gold tone hardware. Approximately 41 x 40 cm. Handle drop 12 cm. Serial number RI0092. Dustbag., originally created in 1860, Louis Vuitton Nomade leather is vegetable-tanned using a careful blend of mimosa, oak, quebracho and chestnut bark, then saturated in pigment to produce exceptionally supple leather that will age beautifully, attaining a lustrous patina over the years. This Neguev GM briefcase was only available for a limited time and is rare to find.
