An uncommon Regency painted elbow chair, 18th century, painted with roundels and floral swags, the back with interlocking circular painted splats above painted vases with foliate decoration, the top rail turned and painted with tablet form of European landscape. With downswept arms above a cane seat on lappit turned tapered legs, the back sabre legged, height 84 cm, width 54 cm, depth 51 cm.
