A 19th century Anton Teutenberg 1884 'The Auckland College and Grammar School' silver medallion, 'Won by A. L. Wilson 1884'. The obverse cast in relief with school crest and details, the reverse with crossed laurel branches and shield including inscription, no makers initials, diameter 3.8 cm. Note: The recipient was Arthur Liston Wilson (1870-1937) who's grandfather, William Chisholm Wilson (1810-1876) was the founder of the New Zealand Herald newspaper.
