A rare sedan clock by Bromley, circular dial within a brass 'picture frame' case, the signed and dated 1839 fusee verge movement with stepped bridge cock pierced with an eight-pointed star beneath Slow-Fast regulation. The oblong case with urn shaped hanger, four cast brass rosettes on a black leather background frame, convex glazed hinged brass bezel, white enamel dial with Roman numerals and single rail minutes (small repair to enamel), the reverse of the frame infilled with mahogany and with a hinged brass circular cover with conventional comma latch. Old BADA sticker remnants. Case 15 x 11 x 2.5 cm Dial diameter 7.6 cm.
