An impressive 18th century French Louis XV large ormolu and boulle bracket clock by J Personne of Abbeville, the highly decorative ormolu mounted case with figured finial of a classical woman holding aloft a bird, quality mounts including the front glazed door framing with a woman resting upon a seven star globe, enclosing an elaborate gilded dial with blue roman numerals to the individual enamelled plaque numerals, maker's name to the central plaque and movement back, bell striking. All on conforming bracket, height 98 cm.
