9ct gold and diamond propelling pencil pendant and longchain, Cartier, circa 1940, terminating on a tapered cylindrical shaft applied at intervals with half-round bands pave-set with brilliant-cut diamonds surmounted by a collet-set diamond supported from a continuous trace link chain decorated at intervals with openwork elliptical white gold links collet-set to the obverse and reverse with a diamond, the shaft housing a propelling pencil, pendant approximately 80 mm, circumference approximately 900 mm, engraved Vs, signed Cartier, London.
