Rare 19th circa ebony & silver Rudall & Rose flute marked for Rudall and Rose, of 15 Piazza, Covent Gardens, London, which address the company occupied from 1827 to1847. Accordingly, the date of this instrument is dated from this era, which the current owners, who are long term owners of the flute, believe is the origin of this instrument. The flute is presented in the original fitted carry case. Split to one element.
