Argyle, a coloured diamond and diamond ring, set to the centre with a princess-cut pink diamond weighing 0.54ct, within a border of brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, JFP for J Farren-Price, ring size P. Accompanied by Argyle diamond certificate 198298, dated 31 October 2001, stating the princess-cut diamond weighs 0.54ct, colour 6BP, clarity VVS1. The Argyle diamond mine, located in the East Kimberley region in northern Australia, is the only known significant source of pink and red diamonds, producing over 90% of the world's supply today. Due to the depletion of gem quality reserves the Argyle mine is set to close at the end of 2020 after nearly 40 years in operation.
