1956 Carnival: Tassie Medal 9ct gold with map of Australia with states in coloured enamel, the back engraved 'Australian National Football Council/Eric Tassie Memorial Medal, 1956, Won by G Farmer, WA'. A very significant item. [The Tassie Medal, named after South Australian administrator Eric Tassie, was awarded to the outstanding player at each Australian Rules Interstate Carnival held between 1937 and 1988.
