A pair of large and impressive 19th century/20th century Continental urns, hand painted with neo-classical romantic country scenes in the Angelica Kauffman style, the base, column, top and lid decorated with wild flowers on a cream ground with maroon, blue and gilt embellishment, all set within a highly ornate ormolu frame, pineapple knop to lid. 80 cm x 175 cm.
