A 17th century Cornelius Harbart open faced key wind silver pair cased verge watch, gilt finished verge movement, chain fusee, pierced and engraved scroll decorated balance cock, worm and wheel set-up regulator, tulip pillars, white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, inner minute divisions, black steel hands. Plain inner silver case, the outer case of red tortoiseshell with intricate pique work in silver. The movement signed 'Cornelius Harbart, London Bridge'. Circa 1670.
