A fine 18th century George I period chair, the frame in solid walnut, of pegged construction, with a drop-in silk covered stuffed seat. The gently cabriole shaped legs with bold shell carved knees and generous pad feet typical of the period. The back with a C-scroll top rail, above a vase shaped solid splat.
