A pair of late 19th century Samson Shepard and Shepardess bocage figurines, the figures are in Chelsea style and show a Shepard with a dog at his feet and a Shepardess with a sheep. Both standing against a tall green screen with white colour-tipped flowers. Both figures are marked with small gold anchors to the base of the tree which were frequently used by Samson circa 1880. Height 28 cm
