A large Chinese Imperial blue and white box lid, Jiajing period (1521-1567), the domed lid with rounded corners decorated with five claw dragons chasing flaming pearls. 8.5 cm high, 23.5 cm. Signifcantly broken and reglued. Misfired to a greyish colour colour. Approximately 1708 gm weight
