A pair of Chinese Yaozhou celadon conical tea bowls, Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127), of conical form with bubble suffused celadon glaze of olive hue, the footrim of each cut back into the glaze, with finger nail marks surrounding the foot and kiln grit adhering. One bowl very slightly wider than the other. The larger 4.5 cm high, 11 cm diameter. No visible damage. Some minor kiln flaws including grit adhereing to the footrims of each, some scattered small iron spots, one bowl with a small piece of grit adhering to the rim under the glaze, approximately 172 gm weight.
