A Burmese gilt lacquer 'Sadaik' temple box, late 19th/Early 20th century, the box decorated with scenes in black against a gilt ground on cabriole legs, for storing a Kammavaca manuscript. 28 cm high, 79 cm wide, 36 cm deep. Some minor wear to the gilt and black line decoration, minor chipping to the black lacquer on the stand.
