A Japanese Kyoyaki 'Chawan' teabowl by Koyo Yamazaki (1890-1979), Showa period (1926-1989), circa 1950s, covered in an intense copper red glaze, with mark to the base reading 'Koyo'. Together with tomobako (original inscribed wooden box). 6.5 cm high, 12.5 cm diameter. No visible faults or damage approximately 462 gm total weight including box
