A Japanese Mashiko Mingei bowl by Sakuma Totaro (1900-1976), Showa period (1926-1989), circa 1950s, decorated in iron (tetsuyu) and persimmon (kakiyu) glazes with an abstracted flower design. Inscription to the base in commemoration of a married couple and signed 'Totaro saku'. Together with tomobako (original signed wooden box) and an original exhibition pamphlet with comments on Totaro's pottery by Hamada Shoji. 4 cm high, 25 cm diameter. No visible faults or damage
