A Japanese Kyoyaki studio ceramic Haisen bowl, Kiyomizu Rokubei III (1820-1883), circa 1850s, decorated with thickly brushed white slip, with iron brown crab and grasses. Impressed mark for Rokubei III at the foot. Together with an old wooden box. 13 cm high, 15.5 cm diameter. An old restored chip to the mouth rim and another to the foot rim. One firing crack to the mouth rim. No further visible faults or damage
