A Japanese Negoro lacquer 'Yuto' water ewer, Edo period (1603-1868), the ribbed cylindrical red and black lacquer-covered form with an overhead looped handle and a long spout sweeping up from a chrysanthemum floret. 37.5 cm high, 29 cm wide. Condition: approximately 836 gm weight.
