A set of four Japanese Arita ware Imari bowls, Edo period (1603-1868), 18th century, decorated with crouching shishi and fan-shaped reserves, with two character marks to the base. Provenance: the de Voogd collection, each bowl 5 cm high, 15 cm diameter. Condition: minor wear to the gilding, no further visible faults or damage. Approximately 1180 gm total weight for four bowls.
