A rare Chinese burl inset Huali Kang table, Ming (1644-1912) or Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), circa 17th century, the waisted table with gently curving cabriole legs, with a bowed apron. The top detachable from the base, the inset burl panel richly figured of deep chocolate colour. Provenance: the de Voogd collection, 22.5 cm high, 68.5 cm wide, 40.5 cm deep. Originally all parts fully dry assembled (unglued), but glued together in the past and fully refinished.
