A Chinese stone 'Qin' chime, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), 19th/Early 20th century, the carved mottled greyish-brown stone chime decorated with bats and clouds in shallow relief, suspended by silk cord from a hardwood stand. Provenance: the de Voogd collection, the hardstone 16.5 cm high, 28 cm wide. The stand 36 cm high, 38.5 cm wide. The hardstone with some small chips to the edges. No other visible faults or damage.
