A Chinese purse with green jade mounts, the purse mid 20th century, the jade earlier, the purse of brocade silk with a handle formed from a part spinach jade bangle, the clasp being a crouching green jade guardian lion. Provenance: the de Voogd collection, 14.5 cm high, 17 cm wide. Condition: some wear to the brocade silk, some wear to the gilding on the metal mounts. Approximately 148 gm total weight.
