A Chinese painting of a landscape, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or earlier, ink painting on cloth featuring a mountainous landscape with figures crossing a bridge. Inscribed and with red seals. Mounted as a scroll in Japan. Provenance: the de Voogd collection, the image 137 cm high, 31.5 cm wide. Crease lines, some old stains, darkening of the image, some fading, possibly old mould stains particularly to the top around the inscription.
