Two Chinese Junyao Shards, Song Dynasty (960-1279), one fragment with a grey-green glaze, the other with a bright sky blue glaze mounted in a hardwood frame, both splashed with copper red. Provenance: the de Voogd collection, the larger 3.5 cm high, 18.5 cm wide, the smaller 11 cm long. Condition: both fragmentary. The larger fragment with chips to the rim and the broken section ground on the edges. The framed fragment broken through the centre. Approximately 540 gm total weight for two together
