A large French figural bronze and Sienna marble mantel clock, circa 1820, the figurative bronze mount modelled as a semi-nude Pandora, peering into a small box in her hand, leaning against the domed Sienna marble top, which frames the circular engine turned dial, all raised on a rectangular base with friezes of classical inspired acanthus leaves, raised on acanthus scroll feet. The clock with a countwell strike movement and silk suspension. 77 cm high, 44 cm wide, 19 cm deep
