A chamber organ, Davranville, France, circa 1837, a rectangular mahogany cabinet with a pair of glazed doors to the upper section, providing access to the organ above a pair of blind panelled doors to the lower section. Behind the lower doors three full width drawers each with holders for two music barrels for the organ. Music mainly by Rossini. Weight driven movement with spiral action controlling bellows and supplying air to thirty two wooden pipes. 212 cm height, 103 cm width, 55 cm depth. Provenance: the Ken Hose collection
