A William III oak court cupboard, Lancashire, circa 1699, elegantly carved throughout with a repeated flat carved scroll motif. The open canopy with spiral-turned front supports, above a middle-section frieze with turned end-pendants with the initials and date 'Wge 1699' carved to the centre, enclosing a pair of recessed cupboard doors with carved panels, the lower-section with drawers and centred by an inlaid bird, over a pair of cupboard doors, the front stile supports with a band of chequered-inlay, 198.5 cm high, 138 cm wide, 48 cm deep
