A large Dresden porcelain urn on stand, by Carl Thieme, Potschappel, circa 1900, the baluster rococo style urn, in the Augustus Rex manner, finely painted with a classical scene to front with a floral bouquet to verso, the handles modelled as nymphs holding garlands of flowers, raised on a shaped square stand. The whole adorned with floral encrustations. The lid finial in the form of crown supported by amorini and bearing the arms of Saxony and Poland.
