Rome - the Eternal city, c1955 colour lithograph, signed 'Stewart' in image lower right, 102 x 76 cm. Linen-backed, 'Fly Q.E.A. And B.O.A.C. Australia-England kangaroo service, posters P/L Sydney.', the Qantas super constellation 'Vheab' named 'Southern Horizon' arrived in Australia in March 1955. It was this aeroplane which brought the Olympic flame to Australia for the Melbourne Olympics in November 1956.
