Winston Churchill - as Writer: first edition 'My African Journey' published by Hodder & Stoughton, London 1908, 226pp hardbound with original red cloth cover with woodcut illustration of Churchill and a slain rhinoceros, covers are somewhat worn with boards exposed along upper edges (library label on back cover), intermittent spotting throughout, the bindings intact, overall quite good condition, [This book was written when Churchill was serving as Undersecretary of state for the Colonies and represents his travelogue for his tour of British Possessions in East Africa.]
