A large sandstone bas relief carving of a Khmer Aspara dancer, in the style of decoration of the temple of Angkor Wat, Cambodia. Reputedly 12th century, purchased in Cambodia, our vendor recollected that around 2008 the Cambodian National Museum asked to purchase this architectural temple carving for US$20,000 as well as stating it was authentic. 65 x 16 x 135 cm.
