Barry Brickell large terracotta sculpture, c.1986, the train loco funnel top above two back to back old train loco headlamps, flared base, all with 'riveted' detail, impressed KA943 and Ja1227, height 89.5 cm. Provenance: Gifted c.1986 to our vendor David Foley, a friend of Barry, in appreciation for the gift of two locomotive copper head lamps (from KA943 and JA1227), together with years of advice. Note: David worked as a designer for New Zealand Railways for 15 years.
