A fine early colonial cedar long case clock, circa 1830-35 48 x 205x xx 24 cm with an English 8 day movement, in excellent working order. Gadrooned domed pediment and the clockface flanked by full tapered columns, ‘Quilled on the cann' adornments to the flame cedar case, cathedral grain flame cedar to the front of the case and raised on small ogee bracket feet. Well preserved patination and striking colour. Width 48 cm. Height 205 cm. Depth 24 cm. Provenance: Private Collection, NSW
