A Khmer elephant form lime pot, circa 12th century, of globular form, modelled as a elephant with applique face and four cylindrical feet with incised decoration, depicting a howdah to the top. An opening to the top, covered with a lotus bud finial lid. The whole covered in an iron brown glaze, 14.5 cm high, 14.5 cm wide, some minor glaze loss to the howdah and the extermities of the elephants face, a small chip ot one of the elephants tusks. Glaze loss to the lid, and the lid is likely associated, approximately 530 gms weight
