Ps Hygeia Port Phillip paddle steamer, built in 1890 by Napier, Shanks & Bell for Huddart Parker & Co. At 300 feet and 986 tons with a capacity to carry 1600 passengers she was considered one of Australia's finest passenger ships and plied the route from Melbourne to Queenscliff and Sorrento for 40 years until she was broken up in 1931.
