Provenance: Mic and Jim Conway, founders of the band. The Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band, also known as Soapbox Circus or Matchbox, were an Australian jug band formed in 1969. The band's second album Wangaratta Wahine was released in 1974 with cover art by Michael Leunig.
