Rare pair of Colonial boxes, solid Tasmanian musk with myrtle secondary timbers, interior fitted with compartments, and bottles, pencil inscription on both reads 'F.B. Dale, Sydney, 1844'. Colonial born Dale worked as a cabinet maker in Sydney, New South Wales during the early to mid 1840s. 16 cm high,3 33 cm wide, 22.5 cm deep.
