An antique opal, seed pearl and diamond brooch, featuring a diagonally set oval solid opal, detailed with four rose cut diamonds in box settings, centred within a scrolled bar set with seed pearls, in 15ct gold. Opal dimensions estimated 12 x 9 mm, the opal displays a nice play of colour with gree, purple, red, yellow flashes, it shows visible signs of wear (scratches), total weight 8.2gms, 47 mm wide.
