A fine early colonial cedar double-ended sofa, Tasmanian Circa 1840 230 x 92 x 63 cm The horizontal backboard with S shaped scroll carving to each end, the S shaped arms with scroll and vegetalia carving, turned feet and full brass castors. Similar to T. King design (1840) p. 296 Pictorial Dictionary British Fd.
