An ebony wrathful figure, Bali, 20th century 16.3 cm high, Sometimes referred to as rakshasa (ogre), these types of figures are hard to identify, however are often seen adorning the hilts of Balinese krisses. Other noteworthy examples are depictions of the monkey god Hanuman and his spiritual father, the wind god Batara Bayu.
