A Zulu Assegai, throwing spear, Eswatini, formerly known as Swaziland. Leaf-shaped iron blade connected to a hardwood shaft with wire binding. During the 19th century conflict with the British colonial army, the Zulu soldiers fought with their traditional weapons such as clubs and throwing spears, which have become a symbol of their resistance.
