Frankston Football Club, circa 1910-20: Two 9ct gold vintage fobs created on behalf of the Frankston Football Club. The earlier one made by Blashki and with engraved '15' on reverse shows a winged football and large letter 'F'. The later example, engraved 'Delegate - Frankston F.C.' shows the same design. (2 items). The status of these rare pieces has not been established. Frankston Football Club was the first Mornington Peninsula football club, founded in 1887. Games were arranged between a group of teams across the Peninsula including Hastings and Mornington. Frankston was one of five founding members of the Peninsula Football Association in 1908. In the inaugural season it lost the Grand Final to Hastings. Frankston were Premiers in 1911, 1919, 1922, 1923, and 1931.
